Maser Loves You 2

Following on Lil post on Maser Loves You. Yesterday, while walking on George’s Street, there were stickers of Maser Loves You on most Traffic Light post for “Maser Loves You”. Maser is a graffiti artist, but does these post have any meaning or just random promotion.

    yeah i’ve been seeing everywhere along grafton st/ dawson st… not sure what he’s trying to achieve really… ah well… and for some reason i don’t like the idea of sticking stuff – it does spoil the item, even if it’s just a bin or lamp post…

    Maybe this is a little late, but there was an article in the Tribune’s Sunday magazine in March that featured various street writers, as they’re called. Maser said, of the ‘Maser Loves You’ idea, "Those posters were a bit of fun because so much graf here is about being the man and saying ‘f**k you’ to everyone else. What’s the matter with ‘I love you’ instead?"

    I think he did that poster at the top of Westland Row, walking towards Merrion Square. It says "You are beautiful".

    There’s another guy around too, known as Asbestos, who posts stickers for lost things that probably wouldn’t want to be found, cups of tea, marbles etc :)

    Brings a smile on the way to work, at least.

    there is actually another graffiti artist "espo" from NY doing some work in dublin, thou i have personally not come across it in dublin, saw it one flickr – http://www.flickr.com/photos/allcity/2460711813/
