According to the Independent, nine different newspaper stories revealed private details that this civil servant leaked to them from government files.

If only the private data of Irish citizens were half as secure as the job of a civil servant “protecting” that data! article

    There’s no such thing as the Irish “national identity database”.

    It is not an accurate name or description for the social welfare database.
